BEFORE...

In 1985, we purchased an "ugly duckling" house.

DURING...

One of the first things we did was change the colors of the house to lighthouse gray with chelsea blue shutters, doors and window boxes. 

AFTER...

We added a front porch in 1996. My husband made all the gingerbread and I started doing major landscaping, adding many perennial gardens, ponds, walkways and fencing.

Summer 2003...

The newest improvement - blue metal roofing on house and garage. The color is just about the same as the chelsea blue. I think we finally have our "swan" house.

November 2003

We were the winners of the category "Best Spruce Up" in a contest sponsored by the Sullivan County Board of Realtors and Sullivan Renaissance. We attended the awards dinner and had a great time!!

July 2004 - added overhang to front steps with turned posts and matching running trim.
