2008 MAJOR Hardscape Done!!
|
THRILLED to finally get done what we wanted to have
done for a while now...get rid of the old cracked cement patio areas,
walkways and crumbling retaining walls and get some gorgeous cobble
pavers installed. The job took just over three weeks and the company
that did it had a great boss and crew, wonderful to work with, no
drama!!
It all came out even better than we had hoped and we're enjoying it all
so much!!

The color we chose is "Hickory" and the
stones have different shades of gray, brown and yellow-gold. We were
told to wait about a year and then use an oil-based sealer that will
really bring out the colors.

Expansion of the Woodland Walk Garden
|
|
|
After we had eight foot high cedar privacy fencing
installed along the back and sides of our property, I started cleaning
up more of our woods behind the current woodland garden. Now we have
more pea gravel paths, rock walls and planting areas to enjoy. It will
take a few years for the new parts to be as lush with shade loving
plants as the orginal garden.
